The alias name of the RTAP point for reading/saving values from/to.

If the data transfer is from the Oracle database, the value read from the Oracle field associated with the "[alias]" keyword function (see cross ref table), must match the rtap alias name field before data will be written into the RTAP database. If no match is found, an error message will be logged and no data will be saved into the RTAP database.
